What Sisterhood Means to Theta Kappa!

In our chapter, sisterhood means everything to us and more! At Theta Kappa, it’s about loving fiercely, celebrating the little moments, encouraging each other through the ups and downs, and always having someone in your corner. We hold tightly to the Chi Omega Symphony, which beautifully captures what we’re all about: “In a word, to be loyal under any and all circumstances to my fraternity and her highest teachings and to have her welfare ever at heart.” In simple terms, this means that we look after one another and love each other well.

But don't just take my word for it. Meet Caitlynn Reynolds from MC 24 (our resident sisterhood enthusiast). She says it best:

“This sounds so cliche, but truly the girls in Chi Omega are the sisters I never had that I always wanted. Growing up with little brothers, I never knew what it was like to have this kind of inseparable sisterly bond. It was when I stepped foot into the Chi O room for the first time where I felt this overwhelming sense of love and support and knew that the girls were evidently there to support each other and be a shoulder to lean on at any point in time. I knew that in this chapter, some of these girls would become my future roommates, best friends, and even bridesmaids too. I’m forever grateful for these friendships I’ve created in Chi Omega so far.”

Being a Chi O? Oh, it’s a blast! Our chapter room is always buzzing with laughter and joy. But here’s the real beauty: it’s not about what you can offer on any given day, it’s about simply being present. The magic of our sisterhood is in that unshakable loyalty—the kind that says, “I’ve got you, always.”

Theta Kappa is all about those small, meaningful moments that make sisterhood real. Whether it’s a 2 AM Buc-ee’s run or being a shoulder to cry on during finals week, we lift each other up every day. We’re sisters, not just for these four years, but for all the years to come!
